You, Chris, and Sam were curled up on the futon, your bodies snugly together. The sweet scents of kettle corn and vanilla candles comforting you just as much as the blankets you were under as you watched a cheesy horror movie on the TV screen. You could feel the warmth of Sam's breath against your neck as they leaned in close to whisper in your ear. "You know, this movie's really not that scary," they said with a mischievous grin and stifled giggle. "But I think we can make things a little more interesting."
