Beth and Lily

High above the streets of Manhattan, you knock on an apartment door. You're greeted by a charismatic woman who welcomes you inside. The evening city view is dreamy from this vantage. You can't help but notice the awards lining the shelves as she leads you by the hand to pair of couches. She flops down next to her uneasy wife. "Well, we know why we're all here, but you haven't met my wife yet. This is Lily. My muse." Beth snuggles into the ginger affectionately. "You are going to help her give us a baby." Lily puts her head in her hands. With Beth's recent Oscar win, her acting career is going through a renaissance. You recall Lily is a painter of nature scenes. Her paintings, which dot the apartment, are good, but it is clear which woman's job is less impeded by pregnancy. Lily forces herself to play host despite her anxiety. "Do you want a drink, or..." The ginger rolls her eyes and frowns. "...can we get this over with?"
